What instruments do you play and how long have you played them?

Guitar since age 9, Piano age 12, Trombone 12, a little bass and of course the Radio and iPod for life!

 

What band or album made you want to start playing music?

My first experience of wanting to play music was when Peter Frampton and Journey came out. I know I wanted to do that!

 

If you weren’t doing music, what would you pursue?

Music is all I know, but probably some form of ministry.

 

What’s been the greatest thing about your music career?

That God get’s all the Glory for what I do and I can share it with others to lead them to the Savior!

 

How did you meet your ER bandmates?

Well, Tony is my bother so I’ve known him a short while. :-) Robbie was put in my path 6 years ago out of a need for a drummer when someone else did not show up to play. Met Charlotte after auditioning singers for a former Top 40 Band over 15 years ago. (Charlotte sings with us when God allows, and she's on our Seven Mile Journey CD.)

 

In one sentence, describe each of the other band members.

Tony – Thorough. Very, very, very, very (and did I say VERY) funny! Administrative.
Robbie – Easy going, perfectionist, sarcastic & loving, and easy to talk to.
Charlotte- Very, Very gifted, loving, caring, sensitive and funny.

 

What other bands did you play in before ER? What style of music was it?

Various Top 40 bands and original bands throughout my teens and later. Mostly Pop Rock, Oldies, then-current 80’s and 90’s music. I appreciate all kinds of music.

 

When and how did you become a Christian?

It was 1992, after my brother Tony quit everything we did together musically to pursue a life in Jesus Christ! Tony was the instrument (no pun intended) God used to show me I needed Christ in my life.

What hobbies do you enjoy?

Boating, camping, just hangin' with family and friends, fellowshipping with friends anywhere.

Kings hockey (www.lakings.com), my daughter’s softball team in college, my son’s baseball team.

 

Do you have any pets?

3 dogs – Tanner (Golden), Lacie (Beagle) and Ginger (mutt, old and sweetest of all!)

 

What “hidden” talents do you have?

None are hidden!!!

 

What is your favorite food?

Italian! Mexican,….. no……really……Pasta!!! Fettucinni! Yummmmm!

 

What’s your biggest pet peeve?

Incompetent drivers! (I live in L.A.! Need I say more?)

 

What habit annoys you the most?

One who commits to you and then doesn’t come through for any reason with no notice!!!!

 

What book would you highly recommend? (Besides the Bible.)

“Don’t Waste Your Life” by John Piper, Great read!

What is your favorite Bible story?

The story in Samuel, and how God chose David as King, his devotion to pleasing God and seeking His will!
